Well, almost. But not so with the new Sabrent Rocket 5. Sabrent reckons it&#8217;ll do <a class=\"hawk-link-parsed\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Sabrent\/status\/1743402071041163647\" data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" data-url=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Sabrent\/status\/1743402071041163647\" data-component-tracked=\"1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">just fine with one of those slim-line cooling covers<\/a> that comes with most motherboard M.2 slots.<\/p>\n<p>If true, that&#8217;s particularly impressive given the new Rocket 5 not only uses the same Phison E26 controller chip as the bulk of existing Gen 5 drives, which tend to have massive heatsinks or even require active cooling. Corsair mentions that the drive should benefit devices such as the Legion Go handheld, although nearly all PCs, notebooks, and handhelds that have an M.2-2280 slot support mounting for M.2-2242. \\<\/p><p>The MP600 Micro takes advantage of PCI-Express 4.0 x4 host interface, offering sequential transfer rates of up to 5100 MB\/s reads, with up to 4300 MB\/s writes.
