In 2024, NASA\u2019s Artemis 2 will put humans on the moon again \u2013 the first such mission in more than 50 years. Space is a hot topic these days, and more missions are driving a greater need for advanced, space-friendly data storage.<\/p>\n

In a recent Forbes article \u201cSSDs and Space: Why Data Storage is Mission Critical For A Future Out Of This World\u201d, Phison\u2019s General Manager and President (USA) Michael Wu discusses how SSDs are a critical component in every type of space vehicle and machine. SSDs deliver the high performance, low power consumption, durability and data integrity that space requires. Modern satellites are already using them to store data about climate change, global weather patterns, oil spills and more. And governments and private companies around the world are busily working on their own innovative space projects, which will require an increasing number of the world\u2019s best SSDs<\/a>.<\/p>\n
