\"Corsair unveiled the MP600 Micro, an M.2 NVMe SSD in the M.2-2242 (42 mm long) form-factor, which is slightly larger than the MP600 Mini M.2-2230 drive that's designed for handhelds, and almost half the length of a regular MP600 series M.2-2280 drive. Corsair mentions that the drive should benefit devices such as the Legion Go handheld, although nearly all PCs, notebooks, and handhelds that have an M.2-2280 slot support mounting for M.2-2242. \\<\/p>
The MP600 Micro takes advantage of PCI-Express 4.0 x4 host interface, offering sequential transfer rates of up to 5100 MB\/s reads, with up to 4300 MB\/s writes. The company also claims up to 600,000 IOPS QD32 random reads, and up to 890,000 IOPS QD32 random writes, as measured with IOmeter.
